As the York sisters continue to face questions about their role within the royal household, Kate is said to be taking a firm stance regarding the future of the monarchy.
Beatrice and Eugenie reportedly appeal to Kate
Amid speculation about whether Beatrice and Eugenie will be included in future royal gatherings, concerns have grown following reports linking their parents, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson, to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
According to a source who spoke with Closer, the Princess of Wales has been particularly determined to safeguard the monarchy’s reputation.
“Kate has been resolute. She’s put her foot down in a way we haven’t seen before,” the source claimed. “Prince William is instinctively protective of the institution, but Kate was the one who said enough is enough. Kate’s fair. But she’s also unyielding when she feels the Crown is at risk. She believes long term damage to the monarchy is a real risk. And she’s determined to protect it.”
Although Kate has previously been described as supportive of Beatrice and Eugenie, it is now claimed that her focus has shifted to protecting the long-term stability of the royal institution.
